Actually these dogs are strong enough as they used to be good and quick hunters. There are some diseases the dogs are prone to. They are: kidney problems (Fanconi's syndrome - it must be treated the moment the symptoms are noticed), progressive retinal atrophy, intestinal, and eye problems.
